How this content is produced: every rule is checked against the governing body that sets it — the NCAA, the NCAA Eligibility Center, the NJCAA or the NAIA — rather than against other recruiting sites. Figures that change are dated, and posts are revised when the underlying rule changes. The July 2025 House settlement, which replaced the 11.7 Division I scholarship limit with a 34-player roster cap at schools that opted in, is one such revision.
